When Hendrix was born I spent little pockets of time while she napped making her a little capsule wardrobe out of a blend of the softest fabrics, prints and my own personal chosen embroidery.
The Love Story Set is inspired by those slow sleepy hours listening to Hennie's heavy breathing while I recovered, grew my heart a little more to accommodate 3 littles and learnt to juggle and embrace the new crazy chaos.
The set will be made using the softest 100% organic cotton, cozy cellular chunky knit and the best jewelled threads.

Winter Beach: A handprinted print inspired by the beaches in South Devon and the little magical glimpses I saw in the waves as a child. Horses riding the surf, prints in the sand and bobble hats left waiting for new owners on chilly days. This is the first print I ever commissioned for S&S a soft blend of cool colours and rich imagery. Perfect for any new love stories beginning.
The Lilac Wood: Inspired by "The Last Unicorn" by Peter S Beagle I asked a dear friend and very talented artist to paint one of my favourite stories in her own style. I was enthralled by unicorns as a girl and watched this story on repeat over and over. So much magic, lessons and love in one fairytale that has connected with many generations. Beautiful folklore unicorns, beautiful imagery and a message of hope and staying true to oneself woven throughout the magic is in the very fabric itself.
Enchanted Dartmoor: If you have ever been to Dartmoor and wondered the ancient hills, touched the iconic granite rocks left to weather the elements for hundreds of years you would have felt the magic tingle on your skin. You would have admired the breathtaking landscapes as old as time itself, noticed the nature creeping into the forgotten nooks and ridges in the earth and taken a deep breath.
But have you ever looked closer I wonder, allowed your mind to wonder, your eyes see the extraordinary. The Dartmoor dragons amount the hills hidden in plain sight. Took a 2nd glanc at a Dartmoor pony and see its true form? Noticed the Darmoor Pixies dancing at your feet?
Enchanted Dartmoor is Dartmoor seen through my eyes as a child growing up in Devon, all of its magic, spirit and essence handprinted and then weaved into beautiful clothing for new little loves. It was a gift for my Hennie's birth and now one I share with you.
These prints all have a lot of heart, I have selected my favourite prints from my archive which I dressed my own babes in years past and still continue to do so as they grow.
